From 21.1. to 26.1., three of our PhD students participated in a workshop organized by the MSIT group in the Ringberg Castle in Germany. During the one-week winter school, they gained new knowledge and practical experience in the field of equilibrium phase diagrams, classical and computation thermodynamics, and crystallography. In addition, they also presented their own results which were obtained within the framework of the GAČR 22-22187S project. During the winter school, several contacts were made with PhD students and researchers dealing with ab initio calculations, CALPHAD, etc.
